Seasonal System Checks
Spring and fall inspections to keep your system running through Houston's heat and rain.
A seasonal system check is a full walkthrough of your irrigation setup before the hot months hit or after summer stress. We inspect every zone, check your controller settings, test the sprinkler heads, and look for leaks or clogs. In Houston's humidity and clay soil, small problems turn into big ones fast. We catch them now.
Spring checks happen March through April, when you're ramping up for summer watering. Fall checks run September through November, after the heat has worn things out. We adjust your timer for the season, clean or replace clogged nozzles, and make sure your backflow preventer is working. Most systems need tweaking twice a year in this climate.
You get a detailed report of what we found and what we fixed. If we spot something that needs repair, we tell you straight and give you a price. No surprises. Most customers schedule these back-to-back so their system stays dialed in year-round.
About seasonal system checks
How often do I really need a seasonal check?
Twice a year is the standard in Houston. Spring gets you ready for the dry months, and fall catches damage from summer heat and storms. If your system is older or you've had problems, we might recommend three checks.
What if you find something broken during the check?
We'll show you what it is and quote the repair on the spot. You decide if you want us to fix it that day or schedule it later. We never charge extra for the diagnosis.
Can I do this myself?
You can walk around and look, but you need a pressure gauge, a good eye for weak spray patterns, and knowledge of what Houston soil and weather actually do to systems. Most homeowners miss leaks underground or pressure imbalances that waste water.
